President’s Message for February

85 Degrees, A Summer Breeze, Calm Seas, and 300 Gay Men!!

Kind of hard to wrap your brain around that when the temperature barely gets above freezing and the breeze drops it another twenty degrees!! But that is just what our Cruise Committee has been doing for the last few weeks and will be doing until July.

We want this to be the most successful cruise ever. We want to fill that boat to capacity, 300 gay men coming together to celebrate who we are. Think of the movie "300"...all those hard, sweaty, scantily clad men...I guess the only similarity is the number. But what the hell, a girl can dream, can't she?

The cruise committee suggested to the board that we keep the price the same as last year and the board unanimously approved it. We hope that this will be incentive to get every SGM participant to call all of their friends and get them to come on the cruise. And don't forget, if you are a member, you get a discount on two tickets, your own and a hot date.

So here's looking forward to a great summer and a HOT, HOT cruise!!
