President’s Message for December

OUT WITH THE OLD...IN WITH THE NEW!!

Well it’s that time of the year again. We have just completed a fantastic year with an incredible board of directors. The dedication of the various board members over the last few years is the reason I decided to run for president once again.

I thank each of you for your support! It means a lot to me.

As Carl has said many times, being president is the easiest of all the board jobs. Not only is it the easiest, for me, it is the most fun. No matter how bad a day I have had on a Monday, when I get to the meeting, see all of your beautiful faces and stand in front of you all, I am energized, excited and serene at the same time.

I am extremely excited about working with the new board. Not all new because some of the prior members are back to serve again. These are special men who care about SGM deeply, I know I appreciate their service to the group and I hope you let them know that you do also.

We have some new members who I know will bring new ideas and programs to the group. But always remember that the most important people to our success are you, the members. We want to find new and exciting ways to make this a full membership participation year! I know Mike, our new vice president in charge of programming and his committee, will do a bang up job of filling our meeting nights with exciting, intriguing, fun, informative, and sexy (why not?) programs.
