12 May 2008—Spirituality For Beginners
This class will explore what spirituality is and how to develop a unique spiritual path for you. The first half of the class will be a discussion that will focus on why people want some sort of higher purpose, the role of teachers, the three types of spiritual practice, and an introduction to finding a path that resonates with you. Also in introduction to Chakras and your aura will be offered. The second half will introduce you to various practices such as meditation, visualization, and breathing exercises designed for someone who wants to find more meaning in life. These will assist you in changing your priorities and perspectives, as well as develop your ability to concentrate, strengthen your mind, enhance your intuition, awaken your heart, and refine various aspects of your personality.
19 May 2008—Legal Issues for Gay Men
New Hampshire now has civil unions, and that is another step forward. Two lawyers will join us tonight to discuss legal issues that should (now or eventually) face all gay men.
